Apple Inc. has launched a beta program to enable 5G on Apple devices, with the upgrade allowing users to test out pre-release software. According to reports, this software upgrade enables 5G network access on Apple devices as and when service providers Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone enable 5G network access.

Apple users must sign up for the Beta Program on the company’s website, set up a profile, and download the software. Jio consumers with iPhones 12 and up in cities where JioTrue5G is available will be invited to Jio Welcome Offer. Jio Welcome Offer gives subscribers unlimited 5G broadband at up to 1 Gbps speed at no extra cost. Prepaid consumers, on the other hand, must be on a valid Rs 239 or above plan. This trial is open to all Postpaid customers.

Airtel does not offer any special 5G offers to its customers, as Jio does. Users in cities/areas where the Airtel 5G network has been launched can trial 5G services as part of their existing plan after updating to the newest Apple Beta software.

While an email address to Apple did not receive an instant response, the company claimed last month: “We are collaborating with our Indian carrier partners to deliver the best 5G experience to iPhone users as soon as network validation and testing for quality and performance is finished. 5G will be enabled with a software update and will be available to iPhone customers in December “.

Phone Support

Customers with Airtel and Jio’s iPhone 14, iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone SE (3rd generation) models will be able to sample 5G as part of Apple’s iOS 16 Beta Software Program. Anyone with a valid Apple ID who accepts the Apple Beta Software Program Agreement during the sign-up procedure is eligible for the Apple Beta Software Program.

It is recommended that users utilize their iCloud account, which is an Apple ID. They can create an iCloud account or another Apple ID if they do not already have one.

Customers who wish to sample the beta version should make a backup of their iPhones before installing it. It is advised that beta software be installed only on non-production devices that are not mission-critical. Users can also submit input to Apple on quality and usability. It helps Apple to find problems, resolve them, and improve Apple’s software.

iOS Beta & 16

The iOS beta includes the Feedback Assistant app. It can be accessed from the iPhone or iPad’s Home screen or the Dock on the Mac. The iOS 16 is the 16th and most recent major edition of Apple’s iOS mobile operating system. It was revealed as the successor of iOS 15 on June 6, 2022, at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).

The first developer beta was released on June 6, 2022, shortly following WWDC. Further, it followed the first public beta on July 11, 2022. On September 12, 2022, the public version of iOS 16 was released.

iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 are extremely similar. It is the first iOS version to support exclusively iPhones after support for the seventh-generation iPod Touch was dropped.
