This year marks the 16th season of Bigg Boss. For the 13th time in a row, popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan hosts Big Boss. Everyone is curious to find out who will be living in the house for the next 100 days. This season’s list contains many TV personalities, as well as one infamous Bollywood filmmaker, a folk singer, a former Miss India, and a Bhojpuri actress.
There might be some wild card entries also later. The final 14 candidates have already moved into the house, and filming for the show has begun. Among the many names going around the market, here is the official Bigg Boss Season 16 cast list.
SAJID KHAN
Sajid Khan, a well-known TV personality and the director of the film Housefull, will appear on BB 16. He is a well-known and influential Bollywood actor. He was also one of the celebrities who were identified in the Me Too movement. He has kept a low profile after being accused of sexual misconduct. It will be fascinating to see if Big Boss 16 can resurrect his career.
TINA DATTA
TV actress well known for her role as Iccha in the hit TV drama Uttaran. Tina, a Kolkata native, rose to notoriety as a result of the show, but she faded as the attention faded. Tina hasn’t had a major performance or project in years, so this is something of a comeback for her. Tina Datta’s stagnated career will be revived by Bigg Boss, despite the fact that she remains in the spotlight for her social media activities.
SHALIN BHANOT
Shalin from Jabalpur began his career on the reality show Roadies and on to doing TV shows. He married his Nach Baliye 4 co-star Dalljiet Kaur after winning the show. Their marriage, however, ended in divorce. Shalin was most recently seen on the TV show Naagin, while her wife Dalljiet appeared on Big Boss 13. In Bigg Boss 16, it’s Shalin’s turn to display his true colours.
MANYA SINGH
Manya Singh, a former Miss India (2020), will be among the many television and Bollywood celebrities trapped within the BB house. She made headlines as the auto driver’s daughter who went on to win the Miss India beauty competition. She is now preparing to restart her career with Bigg Boss. Manya She was born and raised in Mumbai, but has roots in Uttar Pradesh.
SOUNDARYA SHARMA
There is usually a Bhojpuri celebrity in the Bigg Boss house. This year, Bhojpuri actress Soundarya Sharma will be on the show. She rose to prominence after performing in a music video by Bhojpuri singer Pavan Singh. She went on to star in the web series Raktanchal and the film Ranchi Diaries. Soundarya, who was born in Delhi, is a well-known social media dentist.
NIMRIT KAUR AHLUWALIA
Many TV bahus have won Bigg Boss in the past, and if the bahu is from the home station, the chances of winning are high. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia of Choti Sardarni fame will be seen on BB 16 this season. The Delhi girl is a law graduate who competed in beauty pageants before becoming an actress.
ANKIT GUPTA
Another Colors TV actor is scheduled to compete in Bigg Boss 16. Ankit is well-known for his part in Udaariyaan as Fateh. He is originally from Meerut and has appeared in series like as Sadda Haq, Balika Vadhu, Begusarai, and Mayavi Maling. He rose to prominence, though, with Udariyaan. He had recently left the show when it took an unexpected turn. His next claim to fame appears to be Bigg Boss.
PRIYANKA CHAUDHARY
Ankit will be joined on BB 16 by his Udaariyaan co-star Priyanka Chaudhary. The two are a popular on-screen duo, and fans of FaTejo (Fateh+Tejo) will be pleased to see them on the show. Priyanka is from Jaipur and is quite prominent on social media, where she has a large fan base. She has done modelling, films, and web series, but she, like Ankit, became a household celebrity with Udaariyaan.
SUMBUL TOUQEER KHAN
Sumbul is yet another celebrity who will feature on Bigg Boss 16. The actress, well known for her role as the lead in the famous drama Imlie, is poised to be locked up in the Big Brother house. Sumbul made her acting debut in Ayushmaan Khurrana’s Article 15, but Imlie proved to be a watershed moment in her career. She recently left her TV show when it went through a generational shift.
SREEJITA DE
Sreejita got to stardom after portraying Mukta on Uttaran. She is originally from Haldia, West Bengal. She has appeared in several TV programmes, including Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Annu Ki Ho Gayi Wah Bhai Wah, and Nazar. She was also seen in her debut film, Luv Ka The End, opposite Shraddha Kapoor. She was last seen in Nazar, where she was planning to marry her German fiance Michael. She will rejoin with her Uttaran co-star Tina Datta in the Big Brother house.
GAUTAM VIG
Gautam, who is originally from Delhi, began his career as a model and has been in several TV shows, including Saathiya 2, Naamkaran, and Ishq Subhallahan. He was reportedly married to Richa Gera, the sister of actor Ankit Gera, however the couple appears to have divorced. Gautam aims to establish a new image through Bigg Boss.
GORI NAGORI
Gori Nagori, Rajasthan’s singing sensation, is slated to enter Bigg Boss 16 after Sapna Chaudhary. She is from Nagaur in Rajasthan, and her Rajsthani and Haryanvi dance videos are quite popular. Her dance skills are highly daring and have caused some controversy in the past. She has previously danced with Sapna Chaudhary and intends to advance her career with her appearance on the show, as Sapna did with Bigg Boss.
SHIV THAKARE
Shiv, the Season 2 champion of Bigg Boss Marathi, will be trapped inside the BB 16 house. Amravati-based Shiv knows how to win Bigg Boss, but only in a localised setting. It will be intriguing to see whether he can do it again in the national BB. Shiv was last seen on Roadies and has recently started his own business.
ABDU ROZIK
At the premiere of Bigg Boss 16, Salman Khan introduced Abdu Rizik. He was born in Tajikistan. He is 18 years old and is only 3 feet tall, yet he is a phenomenal singer. He is said to as the world’s smallest vocalist. He can sing Hindi songs but is illiterate in the language.
