On August 29, L&T Technology Services Limited announced that the European luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW Group had awarded it a five-year, multi-million dollar contract to provide high end engineering services for the company’s suite of infotainment consoles destined for its family of hybrid vehicles.

Our transportation engineering services are enabling leading OEMs to build innovative and sustainable vehicles and achieve faster time to market using new age digital technologies. The company was given the large contract as a result of LTTS’ in-depth domain expertise, engineering leadership in transportation technology. It has shown ability to offer distinctive opportunities to scale up existing projects and work on new ones. The engineers in the LTTS team will provide services in infotainment system validation, software development and integration, and defect management.

LTTS already has a Near Shore Center that provides engineering and R&D services for the BMW Group’s range of hybrid electric vehicles and its collection of infotainment consoles. Due to its proximity to campus of BMW Group, LTTS will be able to work on a variety of solutions. And also offer services in real time.
