On Wednesday, PM Modi  officially opened a 2,600-bed private hospital featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including a centralized, fully automated laboratory. At the event were also Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Governor Bandaru Dattatreya of Haryana.

The 14-story hospital complex is fronted by a statue of “Sushruta,” an ancient Indian physician and the first surgeon in history. The goal is to integrate complementary medicine with modern pharmaceuticals, particularly Ayurveda, yoga, and homeopathy.

Mata Amritanandmayi Math helped build the cutting-edge Amrita Hospital on a vast 130-acre site. It contains a dedicated seven-story research building that took over six years to construct.

The brand-new super-specialty hospital has 500 beds at the start and will be completely operational over the following five years. According to earlier statements by hospital officials, when it is entirely functional, the hospital with 81 specialties will be the most prominent private hospital in Delhi-NCR and the entire nation.

A medical college will be located on the campus of the new hospital. This is located in Sector 88 in Faridabad, close to the Delhi-Mathura road. It has a built-up area of one crore square feet. On the grounds are a specialized seven-story research building and eight centers of excellence. These including mother and child care, renal sciences, bone disorders, trauma, transplants, and gastro-sciences.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Center to the Nation at Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District to serve citizens of Punjab and neighboring states & UTs with top-notch cancer care (Mohali).
