Following multiple rumors and a recent pricing leak, Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy M04 in India. For less than Rs 10,000, the smartphone comes with Android 12, a 5,000mAh battery, and other features. See the details below.

The Samsung Galaxy M04 sports a simple design with two cameras vertically arranged at the back and a waterdrop notch at the front. The MediaTek Helio P35 CPU powers the phone, which is combined with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Features and Price of Galaxy M04

With the help of Samsung RAM Plus technology, the RAM can be expanded to 8GB. Further, a memory card can be used to expand the storage capacity by up to 1TB. A 13MP main camera and a 2MP auxiliary lens are included in the camera package. Also, the selfie camera has a 5MP resolution. A 5,000mAh battery powers the Galaxy M04 and supports 15W rapid charging.

Samsung promises two years of major software updates with Android 12. A fingerprint scanner on the side, 4G compatibility, USB Type-C charging, and other features are also included. The Galaxy M04 costs Rs 8,499 and competes with Realme C-series phones, Moto G phones, and other lower-priced smartphones. Starting December 16, it will be available on Amazon India.

It is available in the colors Mint Green, Gold, White, and Blue. The Samsung Galaxy M04 succeeds the Galaxy M03. This specific series has proven to be fairly successful in India, so the company is anticipating the latest model to perform similarly well. The Galaxy M04 has a 6.5-inch HD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 CPU.

This gadget comes with Android 12 Go Edition and One Ui 4.1 Core. Moreover, the OS has been modified to ensure seamless functioning on a low-end handset like the Galaxy M04.

Samsung Galaxy M series

The Samsung Galaxy M series is a brand of low-cost smartphones sold exclusively online by Samsung Electronics. The Samsung Galaxy M10 and M20 were the first models in the series to be announced on February 5, 2019, followed by the Samsung Galaxy M30 on March 7, and the Samsung Galaxy M40 on June 18.

The Galaxy M10s and M30s were announced on September 18 and released on September 29 respectively. The Galaxy M01 and M11 were available for purchase in both online and retail venues on June 2, 2020. Further, on September 10, Samsung introduced the Galaxy M51, the company’s first higher mid-range model. Now, we have Galaxy M04 in the market.
