WhatsApp, the meta-owned instant messaging program, has just launched a new feature called “Message Yourself,” which allows you to send notes and create reminders without the need for a workaround. Users will be able to share messages, photographs, videos, and audio within the app with this functionality.

WhatsApp Message Yourself will be accessible for iPhone and Android smartphone users, and the business has stated that the feature will be rolled out to all WhatsApp users in the next weeks, so you may have to wait a few days to utilize the feature on your smartphone.

Make sure to upgrade your WhatsApp app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to receive the Message Yourself function. Open the upgraded WhatsApp app, select Create a New Chat, and you will see your own phone number among the contacts. Finally, enter your phone number and begin messaging.

Share Notes

Users will be able to share notes with themselves using this functionality, as well as forward a message or a multimedia file from other discussions within the app. You may also record voice notes and photographs on WhatsApp and save them for later use.

This is a useful option for folks who use WhatsApp to take notes. Because WhatsApp is available on desktops and web, users will be able to see these messages on all connected devices. In the coming days, WhatsApp might have capabilities including voice status, voice calls via the web, and more.

This new feature benefits consumers in several ways. Users may not need to download a separate app to take notes or bookmark links for later use. Because WhatsApp can be used on various devices, it can aid in the transmission of media, documents, contacts, and other data from one device to another.

Contact Cards

Another new version will allow WhatsApp users to finally exchange contact cards within the same chat share sheet. WabetaInfo, a WhatsApp updates tracker, has shared this information.

Users will be able to simply add the contact to their address book with the addition of this feature. Once you enable the feature, you will be able to share contact information in the form of a contact card. Furthermore, functionality like chats is end-to-end encrypted. It means only a person or persons in the group can access and respond to the shared contact card.

According to sources, the option to share contact cards is currently available to only a few beta users. As a result, you must install the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2247.2.0 update from the Microsoft Store. More beta users will have access to this in the following days.
